BTS, The First K-Pop Group To Be Nominated in the Grammy Awards
The K-Pop sensation Bangtan Sonyeondan received their first-ever Grammy nomination on Tuesday for the hit song ‘Dynamite.’
They made history in South Korean Pop Music as the first K-Pop act to receive a Grammy award nomination. BTS with seven members – Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook proved again that they are currently the biggest boy band in the world.
BTS was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, alongside other western pop giants like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Bon Iver, and Justin Bieber and Quavo. The Bangtan Boys shared a live video of their reaction on the group’s Twitter account hearing the good news.
In the video, four of the seven members (V, Jungkook, RM, Jimin) were sitting on the couch watching the Grammy nominations in the 19-second clip. V was shocked while the other three jump with enthusiasm for their major nomination. RM had even thrown his phone on the couch out of the excitement that he felt.
ARMY (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth), BTS’ globally huge fanbase, are very happy about this achievement. They are celebrating with their idols and made it trending on all of the social media platforms. The group is worthy to stan for they also stan-back their supportive fans.
BTS always express their gratitude towards their ARMY and did not forget to thank them for this another success. They dreamed about this thing before and finally became a reality! One step apart to win the 63rd Grammy Awards for best pop duo/group performance category.
