K-Pop phenomenal Bangtan Sonyeondan kicked off a week-long stint on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday with pre-recorded performances from the band of their hits “Dynamite” and “IDOL.” Fallon is hosting “BTS Week” on the show, with performances from the group each night.

Early on in the first show, the members of BTS — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook performed a fresh version of “Dynamite” with a cappella accompaniment from Fallon and famed house band “The Roots”. The worldwide famous boy band rocked their bright, clean-cut, ‘70s-infused “Dynamite” looks in the performance, featuring Fallon.

“We love having BTS on the show,” Fallon stated in a news release. “These guys are incredible, and you just know they’re going to go above and beyond to make their performance unforgettable. Last time we had them on we took over Grand Central Terminal, so we had our work cut out for us to top that,” he added.

Bangtan Boys announced over the weekend that “BE,” the band’s next album and the second to drop from the prolific entertainers this 2020, is set to release on the 20th of November. After their virtual performance on Monday, their single “Dynamite” climbed back to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
